Scott started off his career within the Rail industry back in 2010 as an Apprentice Rail Engineer in the Permanent Way Renewals and Maintenance Department. This role included routine patrols of the infrastructure, Adjustments, Replacements, Installation of assets and components, restoration of Track Geometry for both Plain Line and Switches and Crossings.
Scott utilised previous qualification’s and worked with the Off Track Department on the infrastructure, this involved the Installation of drainage, Tree Felling, Brush Cutting, Strimming, Crown Reduction and Branch Pruning.
A few years later, Scott qualified as a Trainer Assessor and has delivered various training programmes at Level 2 and Level 3 whilst working with colleges. Scott is well known for his attention to detail, diligence, but overall his commitment to the client.
